As part of San Francisco's COVID-19 response, Kimberly is serving as Program Manager for the Slow Streets program. This program minimizes vehicle traffic on residential streets and opens these streets for people who are biking and walking to social distance when making essential trips.

Most notably, Kimberly has also managed the Valencia Bikeway Improvements project since 2017. Under her leadership, the team designed and implemented a one-mile parking protected bikeway pilot and San Francisco’s first school loading islands on an accelerated four-month schedule in partnership with the Mayor’s Office.
